Dressing Our Age

Fleece/Thermal Target ($10 on black friday), Jeans Joes (Von Maur), Boots Jessica Simpson (old), Sunglasses Prada

I was talking with my cousin one night about dressing our age.  We were saying that we might not be all hip, hot, and trendy for the young fashion world, but we do feel we dress our age.  My almost forty age!  Should I be saying that on here?  Anyway, we think that there is a time and place for appropriate.  In our twenties, maybe we took chances, or even early thirties, but really I'm almost forty.  I'm done taking edgy chances.   I feel I look the part though.  I look appropriate for my late (real late) thirty self.
I try to have a fun, conservative feel to my dressing.

Also, I don't feel almost forty since I'm still getting carded for alcohol.  Do they do that on purpose or do I really only look twenty-one?  Hmmmm........

I do, however, only feel nineteen sometimes.  I don't know why!  I'm trying not to grow up I guess and a good example of that is my fashion blog.  I know this is cliche, but you're as young as you feel.

“You are as young as you feel. If you begin to feel the warmth of your soul, there will be a youthfulness in you that no one will be able to take away from you.”

My advise is to do things to keep yourself young and fresh because I really do think it works.  I'm not sure how long I'll continue blogging my fashions considering, but man do I ever have a great wardrobe!!!  Just because my shirts were only ten dollars from Target doesn't mean they're not blog worthy.  Even more so, I think, because they still fit the part by being affordable and comfy.  My two favorite things!!!  We all gotta save where we can.  Right?  And, dress our age!  This outfit was perfect for a day of Christmas shopping!
